Imani Rhodes
Architect
Imani Rhodes approaches architecture as a discipline of both structure and stewardship. Trained in civil engineering and architecture, she specializes in complex outdoor environments—where building systems meet living systems—and brings a practiced eye to the technical and spatial relationships that often go unnoticed but make all the difference.
At Fairway Design, Imani leads the integration of architectural detailing into site design, ensuring that every wall, edge, and elevation supports the project’s ecological and experiential goals. Her work spans residential estates, institutional landscapes, and adaptive reuse projects, often involving tight tolerances, challenging topography, or layered historical contexts. She thrives in projects where clarity must be carved out of complexity.
Raised between Atlanta and coastal Virginia, Imani brings a personal awareness of how culture and geography shape the built environment. She believes good design starts with listening—and that even the most technical drawings tell a story about care, context, and possibility.
Imani holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia GSAPP and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Howard University. She is a licensed architect and leads technical coordination for projects across both the New York and Chicago offices.
