Fairway Design Landscape Architects creates landscapes that respect the natural, architectural, and human ecologies unique to each place in the world. To create a meaningful experience of home, we design connections to nature with an uncommon attention to detail. Our gardens and landscapes are at every scale, from country estates and urban terraces to some of the nation’s leading cultural institutions. Our commitment to creating healthy places includes earth-friendly planting strategies and prioritizing the native or vernacular landscape.
Our work is found from the Hamptons to Hong Kong, and involves collaborations with the most prominent architects and designers in practice today. Founded by Marco Bianchi and Helena Koch in 2016, our design teams work out of offices in New York.

Our process is grounded in dialogue—listening closely to our clients, engaging with the architectural and ecological character of each site, and responding with design solutions that feel inevitable, yet quietly transformative. Whether we’re working on a windswept coastal terrace, a woodland retreat, or a civic plaza, our aim is always the same: to shape spaces that are deeply attuned to their surroundings and to the people who inhabit them.
